About the instructors:
Matt began teaching himself to dance in Charlottesville, Virginia at age sixteen. He started a class for fun at the local community center and 4 years later was teaching dance full time. In 2010, he decided to pursue his career as a professional dancer & choreographer. After moving to LA, Matt signed with Clear Talent Group and began working in the commercial industry, performing on TV shows such as: So You Think You Can Dance, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Bravo TV's Watch What Happens Live, and under the direction of Shane Sparks on Eva's 2011 tour. Matt has been fortunate to work with some great artists like Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, DJ Tiesto and Jermaine Jackson. In the past year, Matt has also choreographed for live shows, like LMFAO's Party Rock Fashion, Choreographers Carnival, and LA Fashion Weeks: Fashion Minga. Matt has a passion for teaching dance and over the past 8 years has taught workshops all over the world. His high energy classes create a fun environment where students can take their talents to the next level!
Dana was born in Brooklyn, NY and started dancing at 2 years old. She grew up training in every style from ballet and tap to jazz funk and hip hop. Dana became the captain of her college dance team and after graduating went on to represent NYC as a Knicks City Dancer. She left the Knicks to dance with recording artist Kat Deluna on her world promo tour. In addition, Dana choreographed Kat’s world tour and two music videos. Most recently, Dana choreographed and performed with Melissa Gorga on Bravo TV's Watch What Happens Live. Dana’s passion for dance spread to teaching and she has been traveling around the country for the last 10 years teaching students of all ages and ability levels. Dana works with her students to build confidence, style, and instill a love of dance.
